Lecture reporet
For example,Beethoven Symphony No.9. As a result of music joined by a large chorus in the fourth movement,so called it "Choral Symphony".It expends the size and scope of the symphony, beyond the genre and norm at the time, became to a magnificent and full of philosophical ode performed by the orchestra, chorus and soloists.Through this work, the author expressed the struggle for freedom of human beings and believed that this struggle will ended with the human victory.Human beings will obtain joy and solidarity.Wagner also conducted a thorough reform of the traditional opera, and emphasized the drama first, music second, adhere to the dramatic content of music must obey the principle of the need for creation.Expanded the establishment of the orchestra,to strengthen the orchestra's expression.
We know Wagner respected and followed Beethoven's style, even though he wanted to change Beethoven's works. For example,he tried to change the speed of Beethoven Symphony No.9.Perhaps his desire of reform was so strong, but his spirit of reform is really worth studying. In tonight's performance an attempt is made to follow Beethoven's ideas on his 9th Symphony, rather than Wagner's.I think the better way is he has to through his own works to influence people.
In conclusion:may I quote from Beethoven's published comments on the metronome,"a welcome means of assuring the performance of my works everywhere at tempi conceived by me,which to my regret, have so often been misunderstood."Today,we have accepted more and more music works, misunderstood is less and less.We can choose a wide variety of types of music by ourselves. We also support the reform and innovation absolutely, because It can promotes the development of the times.

Classical music is the art of rational.I had ever read a news about:Scientific evidence, music can develop thinking ability. On the surface, music is inspired by the beating, but between the movement and the movement;between the phrases and phrases;between the voices and the voices;between the mix of all musical instruments reflects the careful logic. In a complete symphony in the development of different music, progressive, interactive, musical instruments are among the show embraced the music of reason. Therefore, classical can improve thinking ability.

Lecture Report
Richard Wagner, who in word and deed was passionately at pains through out his whole life to rescue the execution of Beethoven's works from what had gradually become an unbearable negligence, has in his essay" On the performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony" directed one to that way of executing this symphony which corresponds as much as possible with the intentions of it's creator, and to which more modern conductors have conformed. He proposed:(1)"The whole duty of a conductor is comprised in his ability always to indicate the right tempo, the right tempo[was found because the conductor] persistently fix[ed] the attention of his orchestra upon the melos is the sole guide to the right tempo. conductors so frequently fail to find the true tempo because they are ignorant singing...(2)Things which formerly existed in separate and opposite forms, each complete in itself, are now placed in juxtaposition, and further developed, one from the other, so as to from a whole. We may consider it established that in classical music written in the later style."
Since Beethoven there has been a very considerable change in the treatment and the execution of instrumental music. The speaker took the Beethoven 9th symphony as an example. In work Beethoven, for can express own thought profoundly explicitly, to speak to the universe, has broken the symphony traditional form boldly, has joined the sounds of people chorus, therefore the work calls it "The chorus symphony" Is also in music history first joins the chorus the symphony.
Conclusion: Wagner laid it down that the two fundamental principles underlying the art were:(1)Giving the true tempo to the orchestra;(2)Finding the "melos" by which he means the unifying thread of line which gives a work its from and shape. Given these two qualities, of course, we have the conductor in excelsis and most of our lives must be spent in the pursuance of these qualities, more especially the first.

What music means to me?
When I was a kid, I began to study music. At that time, I had already liked music very much. I liked singing and playing the piano. My parents encouraged me to study music. They thought I have deep interest and gift, and music is a specialty. From that time, I began learning music. Now, music has accompanied me for about 7 years.
Music is a kind of culture, by inheriting and carrying forward. That's why people would like to appreciate music and build many famous buildings like The Sydeny Opera House to commemorate it. Music also has amazing function. It can effect people's emotion make people happy or sad, because music can express beautiful or sorrowful things that everybody to enjoy.
Music also has a long history. According to official records, music originated from 450AD. There are 7 periods:450--1450(Medieval), 1450--1600(Renaissance), 1600--1750(Baroque), 1750--1820(classical), 1820--1990(Romantic), 1990--1970(Modern), 1970--now(post-Modern) Music is in development and progress, never stop. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Oboe Concerto in C major, K. 314 was originally composed in Spring or Summer 1777 for oboist Giuseppe Ferlendis (1755–1802) from Bergamo, then reworked by the composer as a concerto for flute in D major in 1778.[1] The concerto is a widely-studied piece for both instruments and is one of the more important concerti for the oboe.[2]
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (German: [ˈvɔlfɡaŋ amaˈdeus ˈmoːtsart], full baptismal name Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart[1] (27 January 1756 – 5 December 1791), was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical era. He composed over 600 works, many acknowledged as pinnacles of symphonic, concertante, chamber, piano, operatic, and choral music. He is among the most enduringly popular of classical composers.
Mozart showed prodigious ability from his earliest childhood in Salzburg. Already competent on keyboard and violin, he composed from the age of five and performed before European royalty; at 17 he was engaged as a court musician in Salzburg, but grew restless and traveled in search of a better position, always composing abundantly. While visiting Vienna in 1781, he was dismissed from his Salzburg position. He chose to stay in the capital, where he achieved fame but little financial security. During his final years in Vienna, he composed many of his best-known symphonies, concertos, and operas, and the Requiem. The circumstances of his early death have been much mythologized. He was survived by his wife Constanze and two sons.
Mozart learned voraciously from others, and developed a brilliance and maturity of style that encompassed the light and graceful along with the dark and passionate—the whole informed by a vision of humanity "redeemed through art, forgiven, and reconciled with nature and the absolute."[2] His influence on subsequent Western art music is profound. Beethoven wrote his own early compositions in the shadow of Mozart, of whom Joseph Haydn wrote that "posterity will not see such a talent again in 100 years."[3]

essay
A good lifestyle is very important for a musician's health. For example, have a good diet and sleeping habits. Do some exercises or attend some social activities at the part-time. Make a reasonable work schedule to do the work is also a very good habit. It can make you full use of time to do the work. These good things are all very good for a musician's health. Opposite, some bad habits also very bad for musician's health like they smoking too lot, the food they eat is not healthy,or they often stay up. For example, they often stay up can not have a good rest.It is very harmful for a musician's body. The body can not adjust itself at night. So the whole body will be very tired. So as a good musician must have a good lifestyle.
I think the main point is have a good diet and sleeping habit. Because eat and sleep are two basic and important things for our health. So eat good and sleep good are very good for health. Eat nutrition and balance food. For example, eat meat, vegetables, and fruits. Sleep enough time like 8 hours a night. The body need enough time to adjust itself . So if a musician want to have a good health. They should observe these two things first.
The second point is do some exercises or attend some social activities. Do exercise can make the body strong and healthy. Because do exercise can fight against disease. It can improve immunity.Attend some social activities can release the pressure, relax the mood.It can make people active.Generally, most of the musicians stay in the room the whole day. It's very bad for their health.
The third point is make a reasonable work schedule. Reasonable allocation of time. Don't waste time. Write the things that you are going to do on the book. Write the date and going to do which thing. You will not forget one thing. It's very useful.Opposite, If a musician don't have work schedule. He will forget many things and will very busy.
Conclusion:So if you want to be a successful musician, you should have a good life style. Good life style can make you body healthy; can make you mood happy; can make you in high spirits and energetic. If you have these good habits, you will very close to successful. So remember these to do an successful musician.
